Kool Seal® SPE Elastomeric Base Coat is formulated from a unique cross-linking acrylic polymer for enhanced adhesion. Designed for use as a basecoat for single-ply roofs, this product must be coated with Kool Seal® Elastomeric Roof Coating.
Features
- Provides outstanding adhesion over weathered EPDM, TPO, CSPE-Hypalon and other approved single-ply membranes.
- Provides an excellent surface for application of Kool Seal Elastomeric Finish Coats
Clean Up: Warm, soapy water
Coverage Rate: Apply at 50-100 sq ft per gallon per coat. Rough/porous surfaces will require additional coating. Must be top coated with Kool Seal Elastomeric Finish Coats.
Dry Time: Exposure to rain or heavy dew: 4-6 hours. Between coats and before foot traffic: 24 hours minimum
Uses: As a base coat for single ply membranes
